<B>Bitter Rice (Lux Film, 1950).</B></I> Danish Poster (24.5" X 33"). This was one of the landmark films of the post-war Italian neorealist movement. Silvana Mangano stars as one of hundreds of women harvesting rice by hand in the Po Valley rice fields. Vittorio Gassmann and Raf Vallone co-star as the two men who vie for her affections. This is the rare original poster for the first Danish release of this important film. There is light edge wear with a small tear, stains on the lower border, and a censor stamp in the lower corner.
