Beautiful white biscuit figurine of The Dying Gaul, after the original 3rd Century B.C. sculpture depicting a wounded Celtic warrier awaiting death. It is numbered on the base 4511. Biscuit is unglazed porcelain with a matt appearance mostly used for making small sculptures. Biscuit porcelain is sometimes referred to as bisque or parian. In very good condition as shown.
