Biography
Dave McGary, born 1966 at Cody, Wyoming, USA. American artist, who's becoming a living legend among contemporary artists of the American West. He is considered the Master of Realism depicting Native American Indians. Dave was born the son of a ranching family in. As a teenager, he was one of four students in the United States awarded a grant to study anatomy and the bronze-making process with master craftsmen in Italy. After returning to America in 1978, Dave spent the next three years working at a bronze foundry, developing his own style and techniques. In 1981, Dave opened his own foundry and finishing facility in the southern mountains of New Mexico. His ability to capture the human spirit knows no equal, and his attention to detail in form and historic content are exhilarating.
Exhibitions: 2002 - 14th Annual National Cowboy Symposium and Celebration American Cowboy Culture Awards Show Western Art Award. 2001 - National Republican party presents a Chief Washakie Maquette to Vice President Cheney. 1995 - New Mexican of the Year Award-For Contributions to the Arts in New Mexico.

A buyer’s premium will be added to the hammer price and is payable by the buyer as part of the purchase price. The buyer’s premium is 19% of the hammer price up to $1,000, 17.5% of any amount from $1,000 up to $10,000 and 15% of any amount in excess of $10,000.
VAT (value added tax) will be added to the buyer’s premium. Any lot purchased by a foreign citizen, paid for in foreign currency and sent directly abroad via a shipping company with correct export documentation is Israeli V.A.T. exempt.

Shipping Details:
If a customer does not have someone who can pick up the item on their behalf in Israel, Hammersite can assist with shipment.
For shipments abroad, the customer should provide Hammersite with a valid shipping account from an international shipping company such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.
Shipment via these companies takes approximately 2-4 working days, and cost depends on the size, weight and destination of the package. Insurance bears an additional cost, depending on the shipping company, or can be arranged by the customer via an external insurance company.
Packaging - An outside professional packaging company hired by Hammersite provides packaging. The company provides cardboard box or wooden crate packaging that is ordered by Hammersite at the customer’s request. Prices for packaging depend of course on the size and weight of the item.
Alternatively, Hammersite can hold items for customers for the duration of two weeks, unless other arrangements have been made with Hammersite. If customers prefer to arrange shipment themselves Hammersite will be happy to provide assistance.
Payment Details:
The buyer must pay Hammersite the hammer price within 7 days of the end of the auction. In addition he must pay Hammersite the buyer’s premium, VAT or sales tax, and charges for services rendered if and where applicable.
Accepted payment methods are direct transfer into Hammersite’s bank account, cashier’s check, money order, escrow, and wire transfer.
Payment via Visa or Mastercard will be accepted with a 3% commission charge.
