Immensely gifted composer, pianist, and arranger, Strayhorn (1915–1967) is best remembered as the composer of ‘Take the A Train’ and for his longtime association with Duke Ellington. Vintage pencil signature, “Billy Strayhorn,” on an off-white 3.5 x 1 clipped slip affixed to a 6 x 4.5 light yellow album page, with collector’s notations along the bottom. In fine condition, with a few scattered light creases.
