British pop singer (1940-1983) from the late 1950s to the early 1960s who died relatively young at the age of 42. An early rock and roll (and film) star, he equaled The Beatles' record of 24 hits in the 1960s in the UK. Vintage ink signature and inscription, “To Buddy, Very best wishes, Billy Fury,” on an off-white 6 x 4 card. In fine condition, with a bit of mild edge toning, and a clipped photo affixed to top left corner. RRAuction COA.
