Several men pose in a pool hall. Photograph measures 7”x5” with white border, black single matte 10”x8”, high contrast, and focus is sharp. A couple of the posters on the back wall can be read. There are tape marks on the lower section of the matte and slight wear on the corners. The tape marks on the bottom of the matte probably once held the token in place. Photographer not identified. This photograph depicts the scene in a pool hall. The men at the table closest to photographer are posing while a man is poised to make a shot on the back table. On the reverse of the matte is written in blue pen, “4237 University Way, Seattle, W.J. Wilson (in straw hat)”. In black pen is written, “Leah McTacque’s Father. He is 1st man in straw hat, about 1910”. The included token reads, “W.J. Wilson, Pool & Billiards” and on the reverse, “Good for 5c in Trade”. Provided information not verified. Photo is very fine.
