Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure Miniature Sigmund Freud
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure Miniature Sigmund Freud Is there any better way not to flunk out of High School than to create the ultimate history class final report with real historical figures? That's the plot of the cult classic sci-fi comedy "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" (1989). Utilizing a time-traveling phone booth given to them by the "man from the future", Rufus (George Carlin), Bill (Alex Winter), and Ted (Keanu Reeves) soar through history gathering up a Who's-Who of the famous, like Abe Lincoln, Socrates, Billy the Kid, Genghis Khan, Beethoven, and Freud. In order to create transition sequences of the phone booth flying through the vortex, crammed with a bevy of legends, the special effects department created extremely realistic miniature look-alikes, and spun them and a scaled down phone booth through the effects stages (an old technique now virtually lost to CG). This is the one and only production used on screen miniature of Sigmund Freud (Rod Loomis). It is includes with hands and feet (with shoes), and an extremely detailed face with in-laid hair, and his trademark mustache and beard. Freud wears a full period German three-piece suit, with dress shirt, button-down vest (with watch and chain), suit jacket and suit pants. This incredible unique collectable was in the personal collection of Special Effect Wizard Tom Seymour, who worked on the film creating these and many of the other sequences(and is also known for other great projects, such as "Titanic", and many of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" features). Due to its age, the glue in some areas has worn off on one foot and the neck area.
