Billy Haley and his Comets fused elements of country music, Western swing, and black R&B to produce some of rock and roll’s earliest hits. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 publicity photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To George, Wonderful food. Sincerely, Bill Haley.” Some scattered light surface creases, a couple lightly affecting inscription, a few other small creases, and a bit of surface loss along top border, otherwise fine condition. One of rock and roll’s greatest pioneers, uncommon and desirable in this size.
