The one superpower every boy wanted was X-ray vision, and we all know why. This page plays to that desire, albeit with dread consequences. Rendered by Bill Ely (perhaps best known for his work on <B>Rip Hunter, Time Master</B></I>), this page is in excellent condition, measuring approximately 14.5" x 21.25" overall. A few interesting notes: the back of the page contains one of the earliest examples of the familiar "Comics Magazine Code Authority Approved" stamps known (the "Comics Code" had come into existence mere months before this page was submitted). Also, in the third panel, a nice large "Varoom" has been whited-out in favor of a much smaller "Boom." Did the "Code" find "Varoom" offensive? We may never know. <B>Estimate: $500-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment.
