<B>Big Bopper "Chantilly Lace" Original Music Score.</B></I> The Big Bopper was always prepared to entertain. He carried handwritten music scores with him when he traveled, so he could hand them out to local musicians to back him up. This one's marked for "2nd Trpt" and has special significance, because it was in J. P. Richardson's (aka The Big Bopper) briefcase when he lost his life in a plane crash on February 3, 1959. Miraculously, it survived and in remarkable condition. Among the scores was this one of The Bopper's signature hit, "Chantilly Lace", which soared to #6 on Billboard's Hot 100 in 1958, and charted for 25 weeks. Say, "Helllooo, baaaby!" to a unique piece of memorabilia from an important date in Rock and Roll history. It comes with a letter of authenticity from J. P.
