Three items: ALS signed, “Betty,” one page, 6.25 x 5.5, personal stationery, no date, but accompanying envelope postmarked August 15, 1972. Grable writes to Peter Fox, in part: “I am feeling much healthier now, but it’s been a long siege. I think about all of you so much, and the fun we had, and as you say, the ‘disaster’”; a Christmas card, 6.5 x 5, featuring an image of a girl on a bench surrounded by presents, signed inside beneath a printed sentiment in red ballpoint, “Love, Betty Grable,” and inscribed at the top, “Dear Pete”; and a greeting card, 7 x 4.5, featuring a whimsical scene of a girl, a music box, and some animal friends, signed inside beneath a printed sentiment in red felt tip. In fine condition, with some light creasing. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in Grable’s hand.
