<B>Bertrand Russell Typed Note Signed,</B></I> on 8" x 5" Plas Penrhyn, Penrhyndeudraeth stationery, Merioneth, November 11, 1957. Russell writes, "I cannot remember much about the reception of Marriage & Morlas sic when it was first published, but my impression is that there was no fuss about it whatever until 1940 when it was used to deprive me of a professorship in New York." The note comes with the envelope. There is one fold, otherwise it is an extremely clean and bright note with a strong, bold signature.
