Dated 30 May 1945 from Germany, Montgomery writes in type, ''...This area will be governed for the present by Military Government under my orders...the first step will be to see that the population has (a) food (b) housing (c) freedom from disease...'' Much more content including the treatment of war criminals. 8'' x 13'' single-page document is in very good condition.
