American businessman and statesman (1870–1965), known during his career as a financier as the ‘Lone Wolf on Wall Street,’ who served as an important defense and economic advisor to Presidents Wilson and FDR. Vintage matte-finish 8.5 x 11.5 Underwood and Underwood photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Paul Mackall, with the affectionate regards of B. M. Baruch 1926.” Framed to an overall size of 11.75 x 15. In fine condition, with a light vertical bend down left side, and a few light surface marks.
