<B>George III copper Penny 1793,</B></I> KM-5a, bronzed, a beautiful and very Choice Proof with "dark-chocolate" brown surfaces, finer than normally seen. Scarce. These pieces are seldom found quite this attractive, and traditionally sold for about $400. Recently prices have moved from about $600 to $900, and we note a Spink sale of January 2007 with a price realized (at the lower Pound of a year ago) in excess of $2,000.
