WWII German military magazine fed semi-automatic sniper rifle chambered in 7.92x57mm Mauser, manufactured by Berlin-Lübecker Maschinenfabrik circa 1944. Features a blued/phosphate finish, 22" barrel, ramped & hooded blade front sight, tangent rear sight graduated to 1,200 meters, ddx(Voigtlander and Sohn) Gw ZF4 4x scope with three post reticle & correct quick detach mount, smooth trigger, rotating safety at the rear of the receiver, rough cast bolt carrier with reinforcing web on the front, hollow charging handle on the left, & catch on the right, stamped action cover with blued sliding dust cover, G. 43 marked 10 round detachable magazine, black leather sling, smooth laminated wood hand guard and semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with trapdoor metal buttplate. Matching serial numbers whole or in part are found on the receiver, bolt carrier, bolt, right locking lug, firing pin housing and stock. No observed import marks. Other markings: Receiver - '[eagle]/?14', "6219a" & "K. 43 duv 44." Bolt Carrier - "6219a" & "[eagle]/214". Magazine - "awj" & "[eagle]/WaA178". Stock - "[eagle]/[swastika" & "6219a". Scope - "48056" & [triangle]. and Scope Mount - "3824", "[eagle]/359", "fest" & "lose". Rifle retains a small amount of finish with the majority of the metal surfaces displaying an aged grey/brown patina. The rifle also has "O.T." scratched or marked with electric pencil on most parts with a little more witting on the buttplate. Action is smooth, the bore appears very good with minor pitting, optics are very good and the wood stocks are good with blemishes & custom marks including "8mm".
