Vintage 7.5 x 13 head-and-shoulders Imperial portrait of Harrison, copyright 1888, by George Prince of Washington, D. C., neatly signed in the lower border in ink, “Benj. Harrison.” Some scattered light surface marks, a bit of light soiling, a touch of light silvering to darker areas of image, and minor surface loss to top left corner tip, otherwise fine condition. Harrison’s hair has been subtly enhanced to give it more definition, likely done during the time period the photo was taken. On the reverse of the photo, in pencil, are inventory number and price notations done by noted autograph dealer Paul Richards. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
