ALS signed “Benj. Harrison,” one page both sides, 4.75 x 8, personal letterhead, November 20, 1895. Handwritten letter to the Hon. John Wanamaker, who had served as postmaster general in Harrison's administration. In part: "I have been waiting until I could settle a time and place. The chief element of uncertainty in my movements comes from the fact that Mrs. McKee and my boy are still in quarantine…expecting to get out any day…I would have wired you to come over—but Proctor, Tracy and Noble have all accidentally turned up here at my rooms." In fine condition.
