Two handsome period engravings of figures associated with the American Revolution, both from Korn, Geschichte der Kriege (Nurnberg, 1777–78): a detailed 6.25 x 7.75 engraved portrait of Benjamin Franklin reading a book, captioned in German, "Dr. Beniamin Franklin, gebohrn zu Boston den 17 Jan'rii 1706"; and a 6.25 x 7.75 engraved portrait of frontiersman and Indian fighter Robert Rogers in uniform, captioned in French, "Robert Rogers, Commandeur der Americaner." In overall fine condition.
