Ben-Hur (1959) - Roman Spear.
Original prop spear used a Roman soldier in the William Wyler directed religious epic film 'Ben-Hur (1959), starring Charlton Heston as the title character.
The cast also features Stephen Boyd, Jack Hawkins, Haya Harareet, Hugh Griffith, Martha Scott, Cathy O'Donnell and Sam Jaffe.
Measuring 80 1/2".
Made of wood with cast aluminum spear head.
It won a record eleven Academy Awards.
