<B>Belvidere, IL</B></I> - $20 1929 Ty. 1 <B>The First NB</B></I> Ch. # 1097<BR> This is an elusive bank in small size, with just this note and six others being netted by the census takers. When Thos. A. Willard and Frank R. Covey placed this bank in voluntary liquidation on October 22, 1931, the responsibility for redeeming this bank's notes fell on its rival, the Second National Bank.
