1) In Honour of the mothers of wounded soldiers. 1914-16, Bust of Elizabeth, Queen of the Belgians, right, Her crowned initial in the right field. Signed below the bust, Alphonse Mercury (?). Reverse: A circle within a wreath, containing the text: HONNEUR / A LA MÈRE / CONSOLATRICE / DE NOS SOLDATS / BLESSES / 1914 - 16, 49 mm, 50.0 grams. 2) Obverse: Bust of woman, left, holding forefinger to her lips SECOURS DISCRET. Signed: F. VERMEYLEN. Reverse: pour LOUVAIN. above, 1914 at bottom. Crowned arms of the city, surrounded by flames, hand above, Artist's initials: F. V. 50 mm, 46.5 grams. 3) UNE OEUVRE DE VIE PENDANT LA GUERRE, Four seated children eating a soup. Reverse: OEUVRE DE LA SOUPE. A woman standing behind a table, with a steaming cauldron of soup. On the other side of the table, a seated mother, desolate, her face in her hands. To her right, her seated child, arms raised towards the soup. Signed: Georges Petit 1917.
