Belgian-made Browning Mauser Olympian bolt action rifle in factory box numbered to this gun, 30-06 cal., 23” round barrel, beautifully engraved receiver, barrel breech, trigger guard and floor plate, deluxe fancy grained wood stock with raised carving and checkering, gold accented trigger and gold inset plaque in base of semi-pistol grip, #2P13596. This gun is in overall excellent condition showing little handling or use; elk and antelope panel scenes on either side of the frontportion of the stainless receiver, a bear on the trigger guard and a buck in woods on the floor plate; the buck is signed by the engraver “Spiegel”, the bear is signed “DR” and the elk and antelope panel scenes are also signed althoughnot fully visible due to the stock ribs. The bore is excellent, the barrel shows 99% + original blue and the wood stock is in excellent condition with outstanding grain, checkering and floral raised carving; there are several spots of storage weato the finish of the stock on the left butt stock side at the Monte Carlo cheek piece, right fore end and a couple of other blemishes to the finish that should be easily conserved and brought back to like new.
