Printed by ABN. 8 x 12" Beech Aircraft Company was founded in Wichita, Kansas, in 1932 by Walter Beech as president and his wife Olive Ann Beech as secretary. They built the Beechcraft Model 17 Staggerwing, with 270 manufactured for the United States Army Air Forces during World War II. After the war, the Staggerwing was replaced by the revolutionary Beechcraft Bonanza with a distinctive V-tail. Bought by Textron Aviation in 2013. Ken Prag Collection
