White Camel 'ceranimal'. Made in Montana, signed. Approximately 9 3/8" tall, 9" long. The artist, Becky Eiker, began her career as an art teacher in Helena, MT and quickly evolved into an award winning potter/sculptor. Because of her ability to work spontaneously in clay, she also participates in many "Quick Draw" events. Her pottery is fired in oxidation in an electric kiln, which gives a distinctive quality to her stoneware. Animals have become one of Ms. Eiker's trademarks with over 25 whimsical "species" created.
