Beautifully custom-made single shot rifle by Dave Garman, former owner of Arcadia Sharps Co, representing the Sharps Model 1877 Freund modifications with double extractor, custom engraved lock plate, receiver, lever, trigger and hammer, 45-70 cal., “Old Reliable”-marked 34” octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood stocks, shotgun butt, single trigger, #NVSN. This gun is in overall fine condition showing approx. 99%custom blue finish to barrel and approx. 99% vivid case color with expertly accomplished engraving in the style of the original Freund’s Wyoming Armory rifles; fine bore, crisp action, adjustable tang sight andflip-up Beech’s front sight; fine semi-pistol grip butt stock and fine fore end stock; checkered hard rubber butt plate; indication of earlier presence of a rear stock sight of some type, likely anadjustable vernier style target sight. To find someone capable of doing this work from scratch today would be cost prohibitive and would likely take the patience of being on a waiting list for several years. Est.:
