Beautiful early European raised carved flintlock swivel barrel combination longarm silver inlaid on top barrel flats “Ioseph Abbt” and “ In Saulgau”, .52 caliber rifled and 28 gauge smooth bore, 31-3/4” barrels,full length carved wood panels along both sides of the barrel assembly showing several old slight edge losses; raised carving around brass ornamentation and brass ferrules on one side with wood ramrod; the rifled barrelis octagonal while the smooth bore is half round/half octagon with both showing a pleasing grey patina with scattered spots of erosion and minor pitting; double set triggers working at time of description,brass trigger guard and swivel barrel release, butt stock is overall good and finely raised carved with game animal scene on the left rear side and sliding wood patchbox on the right side with brass trimthat matches the brass butt plate and decorative additions. A desirable swivel barrel with a classic appearance. Est.: $3,500-$7,000.
