Private Cover, 1949, Stamps of value 2 Annas, 3 ½ Annas, 12 Annas and 9 Pies affixed on front side cancelled with 2 Pictorial cancellations with world map and text as “BOMBAY G.P.O. 10 OCT. 49”. On the front side there is a beautiful image of World with an Indian Emblem, a postman on foot and an airplane describing the evolution of Universal Postal Service from “on foot” to “Air Mail” in 75 years from 1874 to 1949, commemorating the 75th Anniversary of United Postal Union, with text as “INDIA | 1874 1949 | U.P.U. | 75th ANNIVERSARY | 10th OCTOBER 1949” and a round delivery seal on the back side as “BOMBAY| DELY. | 10 OCT. 49”, good condition, Rare.
