A) Manufacturer: Remington Arms Inc Model: 1100
The Remington Custom Shop produced the "D" or "Tournament Grade" shotguns with this set having very well executed floral scroll patterns on the right side, the left side and the top of the receiver along with the bolt. There are wavy lines with punch dots on the bottom edges. The left side of all four receivers are engraved "Matched Set of 4" in scroll. The Manufacturer's name, model, and serial numbers are also engraved on the left side of the receivers. There are two wedges of engraving on each side of the barrel at the breech that are dissimilar to the receiver engraving. The barrels have a high polish blue finish with a white bead front sight, a steel mid bead sight, are choked skeet and have 2 3/4 inch chambers except for the .410 bore with a 2 1/2 inch chamber. The trigger guard on the 12 gauge and .410 bore do not have any engraving. The 20 and 28 gauge have a flourish of floral scroll engraving on the trigger guard. The 12 and 20 gauge are mounted on a beautifully figured, multi-point checkered wide beavertail style forearm and pistol grip stock with plastic grip cap and Pachmayr recoil pad. The 28 gauge and .410 bore have the standard forearm. The length of pull for each gun is 14 inches.
