Beautifully contrasted hand woven Persian Tabriz. Size 8.7 X 11.7 feet, made of fine quality lamb's wool pile on cotton foundation, all natural vegetable dye, incorporating a beautiful allover floral pattern on a rich red background, contrasted beautifully with an intricate floral border. Hand woven in Tabriz, Iran. Note on hand made rugs: please consider that a small 3' x 5' rugs may take an experienced rug weaver several months to make. Medium size rugs typically 8' x 5' may take a weaver or two up to a year to complete. When it comes to larger and fine silk rugs, it may take a skilled weaver or group of weavers several years to complete. As a result of the handmade weaving process, not all sides may be straight or corners square.
