Beautiful Hand-Colored Engraving of Lincoln Signing the Emancipation Proclamation by Kellogg. Measures 9.5" x 13.5", framed to an overall size of 12.5" x 16.5". Shows Lincoln sitting at a desk, with the Proclamation on the desk top. Below the portrait can be read, "Abraham Lincoln. Sixteenth President of the United States of America. Immortalized his name by the PROCLAMATION OF EMANCIPATION Jaunary sic 1st 1863 whereby more than THREE MILLIONS of HUMAN BEINGS were declared FOREVER FREE." The frame is very good, with light scratches, and some bumping throughout. The engraving is very good, with some general age toning. One faint brown stain runs from the top left to just above Lincoln's left shoe, but does not detract from the overall appeal of this lovely engraving.

Shipping: Framed - with Glass, Medium (view shipping information)
