Please Please Me album signed in blue ballpoint, “John Lennon xxx,” and “Love from George Harrison,” in fountain pen, “Love, Paul McCartney xxx,” and in black ballpoint “Ringo Starr,” which has been professionally and seamlessly incorporated to the present cover. In very good condition, with Harrison’s and Starr’s signatures having been professionally cleaned, scattered creases and soiling to both covers, and some scattered light toning. The record is included. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from noted Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo stating that the signatures of George, Paul, and John date from mid-1963, and explaining the Starr signature as “The signature of Ringo Starr has been taken from another ‘Please Please Me’ LP cover that was signed by him in 1964…This signature was removed by a professional paper restoration expert and affixed on to the cover,” and closing with “Signed ‘Please Please Me’ album covers are desirable, as it was The Beatles’ debut album.”
