Vintage ballpoint signatures “John Lennon,” on a light green 4.75 x 4 album page, and vintage ballpoint signatures, “George Harrison,” and “Paul McCartney,” on one side of a same-size light purple album page, with a ballpoint signature, “Best wishes, Jimmy Nicol,” on the reverse. Both pages are still housed in their original 5.25 x 4 hardcover autograph album, which is also signed by the 1964 Everton Football Club. In fine condition, with a bit of scattered light toning and moderate surface impressions to signed pages from the signatures on the opposite side. A unique combination, as Nicol’s tenure with the band was brief, and it was the first time the English premiers played in Australia. Nicol replaced Ringo Starr from June 3–15, 1964, at the start of the Beatles’ World Tour, while Ringo was suffering from tonsillitis and pharyngitis. An extremely rare offering, as Nicol was with the Beatles for slightly more than a week.
