Vintage glossy 7.5 x 5.75 ‘Star Pics’ series deckle-edge group photo, signed in blue ballpoint, “John Lennon,” “Paul McCartney,” “George Harrison,” and “Ringo Starr xxx.” Collector’s notation to reverse reads, “1st September 1963, Big Night Out, Manchester.” In very good condition, with scattered creases and soiling to the top (lightly affecting Lennon’s signature), and some slight skipping to ink. On September 1 at Didsbury Studio Centre in Manchester, the Beatles mimed performances of ‘From Me To You,’ ‘She Loves You,’ and ‘Twist And Shout,’ in front of a 600 person audience. The performance was broadcast later that week on ABC Television's Big Night Out.
