Poster commemorating The Beatles October 13, 1963, appearance on Sunday Night at the London Palladium, 24.5 x 36.5. Affixed to a slightly larger, linen-backed mount, to an overall size of 25.5 x 38.5. In fine condition. Seen by 15 million viewers throughout Great Britain, it was only hours later that the term ‘Beatlemania!’ was coined by a Fleet Street journalist. This early 1964 example is the first printing of the poster; subsequent printings in the 1960s and beyond were done in smaller sizes with ‘Beatles’ printed in black rather than red. One of the most reprinted and bootlegged posters in history!
