Original signed and inscribed pencil sketch of the Fab Four in their early mod-style collarless suits on an off-white 12 x 10 sheet, done by an obviously huge fan as the Beatles popularity began to soar. Signed in black felt tip, “Ringo Starr,” “Lots of love, Paul McCartney,” “George Harrison,” who adds an inscription, “To Caroline & Virginia,” and “John Lenn[on],” with space constraints not allowing Lennon to finish the last two letters of signature (or may have possibly been trimmed off). Double matted to an overall size of 16 x 17.25. In very good condition, with vertical creases throughout, closely trimmed left edge affecting opening stroke of Starr’s signature, tape and mounting remnants along top edge and some light wrinkling. The signatures are large and dark with plenty of visual appeal.
