Please Please Me album (black-and-yellow UK mono Parlophone pressing), neatly signed on the reverse in ballpoint, "John Lennon," "Paul McCartney," "George Harrison," and "Ringo Starr." The autographs were signed in Slough on November 5, 1963, and donated as a raffle prize for a local charity. The raffle was drawn on November 14, 1963, which was won by a girl from Langley named Marie Huggins; a handwritten raffle label is affixed to the lower left corner. In very good to fine condition, with a few small tape stains, and partial separation along a seam. The record is included. Accompanied by the original raffle ticket stub (number "320"), a contemporary newspaper article covered in toned tape, and a legible photocopy of the same article. Also includes a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.

The Beatles had come to national attention in January with the release of the 'Please Please Me' single, and they rushed to record and publish this album to capitalize on its success. A fabulous early example of the first pressing of the Beatles' very first album—a magnificent piece of music history boasting superb provenance.
