Exceptional vintage 7.5 x 5 Parlophone Records large format promo card from March 1963, signed in black ballpoint, "Paul McCartney" and "John Lennon," and in blue ballpoint, "George Harrison" and "Ringo Starr." In fine condition, with mounting remnants on the reverse. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from noted Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo, in part: "All four have signed the front of this card beautifully…These signatures are bold, excellent examples from mid 1963. Early Parlophone promo cards signed by The Beatles are quite rare, particularly this large version, as most were considerably smaller."

Early on, Parlophone Records produced a small quantity of promotional photocards in two formats—horizontal and vertical—both with pictures shot by Dezo Hoffman while The Beatles were in the studio. Examples of these were typically signed on the reverse, because there was very little light area on the front of the cards for the Fab Four to place their signatures. Parlophone's second and final issue card was introduced in March of 1963 and came in two sizes: small (5.75 x 3.75) and large (7.5 x 5). Both cards lent themselves to being signed on the front, as there was more white space. This example of the highly sought-after large format version, with bold signatures of the Beatles members, is a stunning piece of popular music history.
