Desirable early Parlophone Records promo card of the Beatles during a recording session in the Abbey Road Studios, 5.75 x 3.5, signed on the reverse in crisp blue ballpoint by John Lennon, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Paul McCartney. In very fine condition.

Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks, which states that the autographs were obtained backstage at the Granada Cinema in Bedford, on February 6, 1963, and by a letter of provenance from the previous owner: “The Beatles were in Bedford at the Granada in the 60’s and along with three girlfriends my then partner’s partner, Margaret, was invited backstage to meet the Beatles. As they chatted the Beatles signed the cards for each girl. The Beatles then invited the girls to go for a car ride in the chauffeur limo the next day around Bedford, it was all very innocent.”

Parlophone Records produced a small quantity of promotional photo cards in two formats—a horizontal version and a vertical one, both with pictures being shot by famed Beatles photographer Dezo Hoffmann while the Beatles were in the studio recording their first single, ‘Love Me Do.' Almost all of these cards were signed on the reverse, because there was very little light area on the front of the cards for their signatures. Taken on September 4, 1962, the image shows the group in their final incarnation at the very beginning of their storied career, and the first promo card with new drummer Ringo. An ideal uninscribed example boasting a full set of crisp vintage signatures.
