Paul McCartney's personal 'Fender Heavy' tortoise shell guitar pick, given as a prize on Bruno Brookes' show on BBC Radio 1, December 10, 1987. Includes a provenance note from the winner: "Paul McCartney was a guest on the Bruno Brookes Show on Radio One, on 10th December 1987. He set a competition with his guitar plectrum which he described as the prize. The question he set was: 'Where did Paul McCartney and Wings record the 'Band on the Run' LP?' I sent in twelve entries to the competition each with the answer: 'Lagos, Nigeria, Africa.' I won the competition and received the plectrum, with other assorted items on 24th December 1987." Also includes the original transmittal letter from the show, mailing envelope from the BBC, a signed promo card of Bruno Brookes, and two Radio 1 stickers. In fine condition.
