Scarce Help! album (import copy) signed on the front cover in blue ballpoint, “John Lennon.” In fine condition, with scattered light surface rubbing to covers, as well as some scattered light edge dings and creases. The record is not included. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from noted Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo who states: “This signature is on an import copy from Venezuela…was obtained during the weekend of May 16–18, 1975 when John was the special guest host…Beatles LP covers signed by John Lennon are extremely rare and desirable.” In May 1975, Lennon, who hadn’t made public appearances in years, traveled from New York to Philadelphia to help out with the charity radiothon, spending hours on the air, answering phones, signing autographs, and personally meeting nearly 2,000 fans who flocked to see him.
