Original circa 1963 oversized Parlophone Records promotional card, 7.5 x 5, signed on the front in blue ballpoint, “George Harrison, xx.” In very good to fine condition, with a fold under the image, and another to its right, done to accommodate the small self-addressed envelope mentioned below.

Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, postmarked at Woolton, Liverpool, July 24, 1963, a certificate of authenticity from Tracks, and by a letter of provenance from the original recipient, which reads: “In July 1963 The Beatles were performing at The Winter Gardens, Margate for six consecutive nights (8th – 13th July). I was 15 years old and a group of us who all attended Dover Girl’s Grammar School decided to go to see them. I think we went to the earlier of the two daily performances but I don’t remember the date. We had front row seats and it was a great experience…As it is almost 55 years ago I don’t remember exactly what happened, but I believe the organizers had no more promotional photos/pictures to give out at the time and we were told that if we brought an SAE over to The Winter Gardens before the Beatles had completed their shows we would be sent pictures/autographs requested. So one of our group took our SAEs over to Margate and subsequently I received mine posted from Liverpool with the promotional picture signed by George Harrison (my favourite Beatle!)."
