Beatles Fan Club Secretary from 1963 until it closed in 1972, two years after the breakup of The Beatles. TLS signed “Freda,” on the reverse of a 5.25 x 3.25 Beatles compliments slip, no date. Letter to a Beatles fan. In part: “About the ‘large glossy photo’—well I haven’t got any, I think you [sic] best bet would be to write to Beatle Monthly for one. I am enclosing a piece of John’s shirt for you.” Accompanied by a 3.25 x 2.25 off-white swatch of material in an envelope with “A piece of John Lennon’s real shirt,” typed on the front, signed in blue ballpoint “Freda Kelly.” In fine condition, with a few light creases.
