Handbill for a performance by “The Dynamic Beatles,” 5.5 x 9, held every Saturday night from 7:30–11 pm at Liverpool’s Aintree Institute. In fine condition, with light soiling and some creasing to left portion. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks. This handbill comes from the original collection of former Cavern Club compere Bob Wooler, a significant figure in the Merseybeat music scene who presented nearly three-hundred Beatles performances during the early sixties, and who is noted as introducing the band to their future manager, Brian Epstein. The Beatles performed numerous times at Aintree throughout 1961, headlining as either “The Dynamic Beatles” or ‘Great Boppin’ Beatles. Epstein refused to book any more shows at the venue after the promoter chose to pay The Beatles in loose change.
