Famed Beatles discoverer and manager. Vintage ballpoint signature, “Brian Epstein,” on a light yellow 7 x 4.5 sheet, with a collector’s notation at top left reading, “Brian Epstein July 1964.” A vertical fold through a single letter of signature, some light creases and wrinkles, and a bit of light soiling and foxing, otherwise fine condition. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from the signature’s original recipient, stating, in part: “As we were leaving the venue [BBC Television Centre], we bumped into the celebrities who had just taken part in the recording of ‘Juke Box Jury.’ We recognised [sic] Brian Epstein immediately–this was during the height of Beatlemania–and we asked for his autograph on the only piece of paper we had.”
