Rare Official Beatles Fan Club flyer advertising the Northern Area Fan Club Convention at Liverpool's Empire Theatre on December 7, 1963, one page, 8 x 13, with sets of instructions on "How to apply for fan club convention admission vouchers" and "How the free tickets for the convention will be allocated," as well as affirming the event's change of venue from the Odeon to the Empire. The lower section, entitled "Highlight attractions of the convention," notes that BBC Television will "film a special edition of 'Juke Box Jury' during the fan club convention," with a panel comprising of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, and that during the convention the "Beatles will give a special stage performance," which will be filmed for screening later by the BBC. In fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks. Tickets for this event were never available to the public and issued only to members of the band’s “Northern Area Fan Club.” Juke Box Jury was a weekly program featuring a celebrity panel giving their opinions on recently released records, rating them as ‘hit’ or ‘miss.’ After recording the show, the Beatles performed a 30-minute set for the invited fans.
