Beaded Jacket Paint Your Wagon
An Alan Dexter 'Native American'-Style Jacket form "Paint Your Wagon." Paramount, 1969. Made of tan-colored leather and suede patches roughly sewn together by leather twine, with heavy beadwork (in shades of blue, red, black, white, and turquoise) in geometric patterns on front and back shoulder areas, sleeves, and cuffs, fringed trim on front, sleeves, and bottom hem; worn by the actor as he portrayed "Parson" in almost every scene he's in, including the one where he sings 'The Gospel of No Name City' when he first appears onscreen in this funny musical starring Clint Eastwood, Lee Marvin, and Jean Seberg. (Please note there are a few tears in the jacket and beads are missing due to age and weight of piece.)
