Be-hold No. 45, Vintage Photographs

Auction Details

This is our 24th auction of original vintage historical photographs. The material is organized by type of photographs, starting with daguerreotypes and moving through ambrotypes, tintypes and union cases. Small-format prints on paper and board mounts include Cartes de visite, Cabinet and Boudoir cards, and stereo views. The final section is a much expanded presentation of 19th and 20th century original photographic prints. Some of the material is of historical importance, other material deals with the art of photography. Everything is guaranteed authentic and as described. Great attention is paid to giving you a clear and accurate sense of the condition of the material. An explanation of our condition codes at the end of every entry, such as [3+], can be found at our website Be-hold.com. You will find additional information about our activities, and subscribing information for our beautifully produced printed catalog, and our popular free Newsletter on aspects of collecting photographs.
