<B>Be Yourself (United Artists, 1930).</B></I> Half Sheet (22" X 28"). Fanny Brice stars as the long-suffering girlfriend of Robert Armstrong, a boozing prizefighter, who dumps her for another woman. Fanny gets her revenge by letting his next ring opponent in on Armstrong's weaknesses. Brice only made a couple of films, and poster material from them is very hard to find. The poster heralds the fact that she sings a number of her hits such as "When a Man Loves a Woman." This unfolded half sheet has had some chips replaced on the left and top border, there is water staining on the right side down to the bottom with some light smudging on the bottom border. <I>From the collection of Jim Ashton</B></I>.
