This lot features a .45-70 bullet and shell casing found on the Reno Battlefield and Sitting Bull's Camp. Major Marcus A. Reno was the senior officer under General George Armstrong Custer at the Battle of the Little Bighorn. These artifacts were found in 1994 and each one comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Historical Rarities, Inc. stating they are guaranteed to be authentic and were collected legally. The Little Bighorn artifacts are in good condition. The shell casing measures 1.75" long.
